“ If you're looking for a reasonable and hearty meal, you have come to the right place. Dave is always telling me that he hates to pay dinner prices for breakfast or lunch, so we opted for our nearest Cuban restaurant! Their lunch specials are unbeatable! $7.99 for a main entree with two sides, El Tropical knows how to do it. Plus we can get coffee or a drink for $1.95, a real bargain nowadays. Dave opted for the roast pork chunks that came with yellow rice and black beans and lettuce w/tomato. I had the chicken stew which consisted of two pieces of chicken in a delicious brown gravy. I also had the same sides! I had the Cuban Coffee without sugar or milk! Boy was that strong but fresh and delicious. The servers are friendly and come by often to check on you and give you refills! By the way you can always get breakfast specials all day which include coffee for around $11.95' So if you want a delicious home cooked meal come to El Tropical! ”

“ Wow, located 5 minutes away from our hotel, E T R is a hidden gem. MDW, and I both ordered the same entree, Churrasco Steak served with their delicious Chimichurri sauce, (one of our favorites), along with moro rice, and fried plantains for sides. Both of us really enjoyed our meal, and I had one of the best caipirinhas I've had, and the best Mojito that I've ever had!!! Service was good and they have a very large assortment of specialty drinks. Give El Tropical a try for some really authentic Cuban home style cuisine. ”
